Christmas With The Williams Family-Part 2

Our second day started out much like the first. This day they wanted to go to Concord Mills which had outlet stores.  The main store of attack was the Polo Ralph Lauren store.  Hunter wanted a hat and they both wanted tees for Christmas.  This was a new experience for us since we had not been there before. Several months ago we actually went to the Bass Pro Shop which is attached to the Concord Mall and I never noticed the other stores.  Boy did I have fishing on my mind or what.

Concord Mills has 214 stores and no directory that you can take along with you to find your way around. Chuck & Debbie had studied the map of the Mall on the net while we were finishing eating Lunch at Fridays but we went in the wrong direction right off and had to find a directory to get back on track.

This Mall is huge and with not having a quick reference to where the stores are located you walk and walk and then walk some more.  The Polo store was a great success for both Hunter & Brittany. Lots of shirts and the desired hat were bought.

PawPaw & Nana found some goodies at the Bed, Bath & Beyond, but the next find was a joy to all.

Debbie and I got a caramel apple which was wonderful. I do love caramel apples. Hunter got a huge hunk of Chocolate that was so hard he could not bite it. He took it back and traded it for a truffle and a candy cane. PawPaw got two turtles and Chuck Jr was the only one who was able to resist temptation.

The store that was probably the biggest hit was the Lego store. Chuck Sr was intrigued until he picked up a box of Legos that made a StarWars ship and it was over $100.  At that point he was out of there..ha.

We did manage to get Hunter and Brittany a seat at the Lego station before his exit.

They had a wall of different colored Legos for you to choose what you wanted and floor to ceiling sets. Brittany decided to choose from the wall some Legos as part of her Christmas.

Hunter, PawPaw and I decided to wait outside in the massage chairs while Brittany took her time picking out each color and shape.  A young man with Christmas cheer sat next to me and pulled out a dollar to start up his chair and handed me one for mine.  There are still good people in the world.

PawPaw would jump up every time the train came by with children & parents trying to capture a picture. There were a lot of people to watch and many foreign languages to listen to as we waited.

The last store of the evening was a sports store and all we got from there were cute pictures of Hunter & Brit in hats.

The end of Day 2...someone lead me to my bed.
